Reach levels A1 to C2 CEFR levels

French by EPITA Team is composed of dynamic and passionate teachers, all graduated and specialized in French as a foreign language teaching.

French as a foreing language programs, professionnal, fun, communicative and intercultural, are elaborated regarding the  CEFR recommendations. The Centre offers complete programs to reach all the reference levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

Before the beginning of each program, the pedagogical team gives an orientation test to each student in order to know his French level. The aim is to place the student in a groupe adapted to his level. Each competence level proposed by the  CEFR is reachable through several steps and according a rythm adapted by French by EPITA.

The regular conversation with French teachers, exams throughout the whole program and a final exam in the of of the journey allow to observe the student's progress and the French level obtained.

An innovative pedagogy

EPITA’s entities strive to remain at the forefront of innovation. The French by EPITA Centre therefore offers a modern approach to learning French, which goes beyond the acquisition of grammar to include a broader range of linguistic and cultural practices that teachers pass on to students. As part of a continuous improvement approach, teachers are regularly trained in new pedagogical developments and the latest teaching methods.

At French by EPITA, we prioritise a communicative and action-oriented approach to French language teaching. This methodology places learners at the centre of their learning process by encouraging them to use the language in concrete and authentic situations. Through activities that promote interaction, collaboration, and task-based learning close to real-life contexts, students effectively develop their language skills while gaining autonomy and confidence in their ability to communicate in French.

Teachers are able to adapt to any mode of instruction thanks to the technology available at the French by EPITA Centre. The teaching team adjusts content and offers a wide range of activities so that students can develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills in French by the end of the programme. Classrooms are equipped with interactive screens enabling the use of videos, interactive games, songs, and other engaging learning materials.

A content adapted to the students' interests

In order to favor interactions and allow a training adapted to each student, they are divided in several group levels with a maximum of 16 students in each. Depending on the public (scientific or artistic) and the aims (personal or professional), the team conceives a tailor-made program that responds to the students requirements.

In order to make the classes funnier and more motivating, teachers work with learning materials that are varied and recent (Internet, videos, literature, radio, cinema, etc.), according to the students' interests. Several linguistic workshops are offered regarding their needs: phonetics, vocabulary (professional French, academic French), conversation, etc. They with help getting deeper in the facts learned in class and develop other French skills.

Because culture is part of the learning-process, the team not only uses innovative materials, but is also happy to invite and guide students in discovering emblematic places of Paris and the French way of life.
